I grew up in Seattle and have always loved the area. So when I was thinking about where to go for my next steps the UW just made sense. Before transferring to the UW I spent two years at North Seattle figuring out what I wanted to major in. After taking various classes I decided on Economics and transferred directly into my major at the UW. 

I love how willing to help all the staff and professors are. Don't get caught up in trying to appear like you have everything figured out. Being uncertain is an important part of learning and self discovery that we often overlook because we are to caught up in being correct or looking like we have everything figured out.

My favorite place is probably the Suzzallo and Alan library. I like the area that connects them on the second floor because there are a lot of nice secluded study desks that also have good views of outside.
